The Studio
Welcome
Located in the heart of Downtown Milan, Michigan, my full-service photography studio lives inside a historic early-1800s home- a space filled with character, texture, and pieces collected from near and far.
The studio was designed around the same things that inspire my photography: history, rich textures, beautiful light, and objects that feel like they've already lived a life. I've searched antique stores, estate sales, markets, and shops across the country for many of the treasures you'll find here. The result is a space that feels warm, layered, a little unexpected, and distinctly Emily Rose Imagery.
More Than One Look
One of my favorite things about the studio is how many completely different images we can create without ever leaving the building.
The sunroom offers beautiful natural light and an airy, intimate setting. Throughout the studio you'll find oversized wooden doors, antique furnishings, a large statement couch, layered textiles, and collected details that lend themselves perfectly to my old-world, heirloom-inspired style.
For something cleaner and more traditional, the main studio also includes a professional backdrop setup—ideal for classic portraits, headshots, team photos, and commercial work.

Private Events
& Gatherings
The studio isn't only for photography.
It's also available for private gatherings and small events, including birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, holiday parties, girls' wine nights, meetings, book clubs, Bible studies, creative gatherings, and more.
And there's one thing that makes hosting here a little different:
Event photography is included with your rental.
You get to actually enjoy your gathering while I document it for you- from the carefully planned details to the people you brought together and all the little moments in between.
No asking someone to take a picture. No realizing afterward that the person behind the camera isn't in any of them. Just beautiful documentation of the event you've already put so much thought into.
Portraits &
Branding
The studio is home base for everything from families and maternity sessions to newborns, couples, seniors, graduates, headshots, and personal branding.
Through ERI Creative, the space can also transform for professional headshots, product photography, creative branding sessions, team imagery, and content creation.
Whether we're creating something polished and professional or deeply personal, the studio gives us room to build imagery that actually feels like you.
